-38 Weeks and Counting-

Aaron and I went to our friends pumpkin patch tonight to get our massive pumpkin.  We have made it a yearly tradition to get our pumpkins from them and we love it.

Welcoming baby Been hehe.  Her first bath.

I look like a massive pumpkin.

Our baby girl got a pumpkin too this year :) And daddy got a 33.2 pounder!

Here are a few more crafts I've done.  I am still working on a few things but I have definitely slowed down.

Amy and I had a double baby shower and she just actually had her baby on 10/11/13!  I am so happy for them!

How Far Along? 38 weeks
Weight Gained? Lots
Maternity Clothes? Absolutely
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  Eh, its alright.  I think I am just getting used to waking up a lot throughout the night.  I have, however, been lucky up until just recently that I only had to go to the bathroom about once a night.  Now its more like 3 or 4 times a night.
Best Moment This Week? I have an induction date set for next Wednesday the 23rd!!!  So if she doesn't come before then, then she will be born on October 23rd, 2013 :)
Movement? She moves and dances in my belly so much.  She is a cutie...and will probably be a handful :)
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No, not food anyway.  I have been randomly feeling nauseous at night again though.
Belly Button In or Out? It's pretty flat right now.  It's becoming non-existent as Aaron says.
Wedding Rings On or Off?  It is still off due to the fact that I have become allergic to my wedding ring.  I really hope that this allergy goes away after I have her.
Looking Forward To? He coming!! She will be here so soon!
Missing Anything? Not feeling like a whale.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  Yes, I have been having braxton hicks for about 3 weeks now.  They are continually getting stronger and coming more frequently.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Oh brother, I have been super moody haha.  I am done being pregnant okay?
Symptoms?  I have some swelling in my legs and feet/ankles and then the practice contractions that I've been having.

-33 Weeks and Counting- Forgot to post this, whoops

How Far Along? 33 weeks
Weight Gained? eh..no one needs to know that haha.  I don't even know anymore.
Maternity Clothes? That's about all I can fit into right now so absolutely.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  I have been sleeping a little bit better but not much.  I think I am just SO tired that I can actually sleep a little bit longer in between waking up to switch sides.  My hips still hurt but they are either feeling a little better due to physical therapy or I have just gotten used to the pain.
Best Moment This Week? Setting my 34 weeks ultrasound :) I get to see her again!  Worst moment you may ask?  Being told that I am considered a high risk pregnancy due to my consistent high blood pressure.  I work at doTERRA (they sell essential oils) and of course all of the consultants are telling me to use Lavender because it it supposed to lower your blood pressure.  Sooo...I'm trying it.  It's worth a shot.  Anyway, I just don't want to end up with preeclampsia.  That would be so awful.
Movement? She moves around so much.  It really is so much fun to just watch my stomach move and feel everything.  At almost every doctor appointment the doctor has commented on my active child.  He also calls her a turkey because she is measuring 2 weeks fat.  Aww my sweet chubby girl :)
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No, and I am very lucky for that.
Belly Button In or Out? I kept telling myself that my belly button would finally be an outie or at least a flatie but it is still an innie...I think it always will be.  Darn
Wedding Rings On or Off?  It is still off due to the fact that I have become allergic to my wedding ring.  I really hope that this allergy goes away after I have her.
Looking Forward To? My 34 weeks ultrasound next Wednesday!  I love seeing her and getting to know more about her.  I am also looking forward to the baby shower on 9/21/13 that my lovely sisters are throwing me!
Missing Anything? I am really so done with being pregnant.  I just want it to be over and I want my baby girl in my arms.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  I'm not really sure if I have felt any fake contractions.  You think I would know but I just can't tell if that's what they really are.  So I'm not sure..
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? For the most part I am happy.  But I have many moody moments too.
Symptoms?  My hips are sore and so is my pelvic area.  I can leave a really large indent in my ankles when I press on them.  Pretty impressive right?  Oh, and high blood pressure (hypertension).

Nesting Stage Anyone?

Who knew I could sew?  I sure didn't.  I have the crafting bug!  My dear MIL taught me the basics of sewing after I had the sudden urge to make a baby blanket for our little gal.  Little babe brings out the mom in me I guess :).  I am super excited about all of fun things that I want to make.  I have been using her amazing sewing machine for the first few projects because I didn't think the one that was given to me worked.  Turns out I just needed to figure out how to use it.

This blanket was seriously the first thing that I have ever sewn.  It is minky on one side and cotton the the other.  I still need to top stitch around the whole blanket so it is not quite complete.

Here is another blanket I have made her.  Its a flannel receiving blanket.  I made this blanket with my awesome little sewing machine!

Here is my little sewing machine!  I am so happy it works.  Now I don't have to wait for a trip to Henefer for my sewing fix.

Now this cute car seat cover is not for my little girl but for another mom and her baby girl.  I already have the fabric for mine I just have not made it yet. I wanted to get this one finished and ready for the shower first.  You can find the tutorial I used here.

LOVE the bows!  Soooo girly.

So don't laugh...but I was in the knitting club in 8th grade!  All of the clubs were full so my friends and I decided to join the nerdy knitting club.  Best decision ever!  I made this little newborn hat in a couple hours.  It was really simple and I am almost done with my 2nd one.  I also just might have yarn for the next one too :/ haha.  Now the bow is kinda special because this bow is a decoration from our reception.  My mom made a ton of cute things like this for the reception and I thought it went perfectly with the color.  You can find the tutorial I used here.

Like I said I have a ton more projects that I want to make.  I'll keep you posted :)

29.5 Weeks and Counting/Camera Clean-up

We decided to do a random spur of the moment trip to Henefer one Sunday.  I love my family!

How Far Along? 29.5 Weeks!
Weight Gained? Oh probably too much.
Maternity Clothes? Yes and I love them.  I wear whatever fits now. Can't be too picky.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  It's actually been better.  I started going to Physical Therapy for my hips 3 weeks ago and I think its really helping.
Best Moment This Week?  Hearing her heartbeat when she had hiccups.  She is so sweet.  I love her too much!
Movement? She is super active!  When my doctor was trying to find her heartbeat he kept on getting mine and hers because she was moving around around so much.  He was like, "Man, this kid is active!"
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No, I'm way lucky in that department.
Belly Button In or Out? Still barely an innie!
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Alright get this...About a week ago I thought I got this werid bug bite on my ring finger.  It was really itchy and of course I scratched it.  It started to get a little swollen so I took off my ring and put a bigger ring on to replace it.  I noticed that it was NOT a bug bite but a rash.  When I went into my appointment on Tuesday I asked my doctor what was going on and he was like..."Oh yeah, that's pretty common with pregnant women.  Because your body, hormones, and chemicals are changing you became allergic to your ring."  Um yeah...I was shocked.  He even said that it could be permanent.  Please no...
Looking Forward To? I am down to an appointment every 2 weeks!  I'm also looking forward to my 34 week ultrasound.  I love seeing my baby girl.  I can't wait to meet her!
Missing Anything? My high school body.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  No, and I'm grateful for that.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Happy most of the time.
Symptoms?  My hips are still hurting but they are feeling better.  I am just getting to the uncomfortable stage.

We did the Temple to Temple 5K on Pioneer Day.  Wahoo!  Now I can say that I've done 2 5K's while prgnant. :)  Aaron ran the whole thing and then came back to find me and walk the rest with me.  Luckily I wasn't walking alone.  Amy and her friend are both pregnant so we walked it together.

On a walk with Aaron.  I think I am about 24 weeks in this shot.

Aaron's grandparents where the Grand Marshals in the 4th of July parade.

This is at Provo Beach Resort.  doTERRA (where I work) had their summer party here.  Aaron had an awesome time playing simulated golf.  Guess what?  Aaron sang karaoke in front of everyone!  I bet you can guess he sang a Killers song.  I was so proud and in love :)

We went to San Francisco to visit David and Jani and their kids.  We love their family and they were such awesome hosts!  It was so windy as displayed in the picture below.

Back to Henefer.  Aaron is so manly.

These are just a few things that you will find in the baby room!  Aaron spray painted the frame and then spray painted the mirror to make it a chalkboard.  The cute rocking chair was found at an antique shop in a small town near Henefer.

So Hannah got a creepy lizard that I won't touch.  Everyone thinks its cool though.

26 Weeks and Counting!!

At our 21 week ultrasound our sweet baby didn't cooperate when the tech tried to get a good look at her heart.  So, we were lucky enough to get scheduled for another ultrasound!  I love seeing our sweet little girl.  I asked the tech for a profile picture and got way more than I asked for!  He switched over to the 3D image and we got to see her adorable little face!!  I am so amazed at technology.  I mean seriously, I get to see my baby's precious face and features BEFORE I have her?!  I love her so much already!  It's crazy how you can feel so much love for your unborn child.  She has already made such an impression on her mom and dads lives.  What a little miracle she is.  She looks like she is pretty content in there.  I think she is kinda smiling.  I wish that claw looking thing wasn't covering her face.  The tech just said it was part of the placenta/cord.  Whatever it is I wish I could see her whole face!  I love you Baby Beenfield!!!

Amy and I are due in the same month!  It is so nice to have a best friend who is going through the same aches, pains, and love (of course) that you are.  She is having a girl too!  Our babies will be best friends.

This is my first "belly shot."  I was 22 weeks when this was taken.  Aaron told me I wasn't allowed to take a mirror shot and post it on Facebook hehe, so he took one for me.  Thanks babe.

How Far Along? 26 Weeks!
Weight Gained? Oh boy...time to be real here...25 lbs.
Maternity Clothes? Absolutely.  A girls gotta be comfy.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  Oh let me tell you, it's awful.  I had hip issues before I was pregnant and was told by my old doctor that when I do get pregnant, that my hips would only feel worse.  Well he was right.  So they tell you to sleep on your sides and it just kills my hips after a few hours.  I wake up in pain and can't go back to sleep.  I just want to sleep on my back!  For the past two nights I have tried sleeping on the couch propped up with pillows so that there is a gap in-between my back and the couch.  I have slept a little better but I still wake up uncomfortable and then move back to the bed.  It's just going to be rough the rest of my pregnancy...oh and of course after baby is born.  Here I come no sleep! Bring it...
Best Moment This Week? I got to see my little sweet girls facial features!  It was so amazing.  My doctor also told me that I am measuring early.  What, what?!  I am so happy about that.  I love her so much.  I also love feeling her kicks and punches as she gets stronger and stronger.
Movement? Yup.  She did gave me a scare last weekend.  She was shifting a little but not kicking or punching me so it freaked me out that something was wrong.  Luckily her movements picked back up to normal and she is totally fine.  She is just running out of room!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No and I feel really lucky.  It is dang hot though!  Pregnancy during the summer is rough.  Maybe we will plan a little differently next kid??...
Belly Button In or Out? I have a super deep belly button so its still an innie.  But seriously it could be a flatie any time now.
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Still on but I'm not sure for how much longer.  Some days it feels way tight and my finger is bulging.  That's thanks to the heat as well.  But yeah, maybe next post this answer will be a no.
Looking Forward To? I am always looking forward to my next appointment.  It is August 13th.  He wanted to see me in 3 weeks instead of the usual 4-5 weeks.  Yay.  Then I think I will be going to appointments every 2 weeks.  What I'm not looking forward to you may ask?  The glucose screening test.  I need to go in sometime before my next appointment and drink some orange sugar juice. Awesome.
Missing Anything? Being able to do awesome stuff.  Like...being able to walk up stairs without getting winded.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  Nope.  And boy, am I glad for that.  Stay in there little Baby Beenfield.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Pretty content.  One day I came home from garage sailing and was way overheated and super hungry.  Yeah, don't mess...ask Aaron.  But yes, I'm happy most of the time :)
Symptoms?  My hips are killing me.  I felt like I was going to pass out a few weeks ago.  Luckily I haven't felt that way since.  Just feeling super prego.  Love it.

19 Weeks and Counting - Can't wait to meet out little girl

How Far Along? 19 Weeks (and a day. it counts alright?)
Weight Gained? 10lbs
Maternity Clothes? You betcha and they are oh so comfy.
Stretch marks?  Awww maaann...yes
Sleep?  Its rough.  I sleep with one pillow in between my knees and holding a pillow that it kind of tucked under my belly.  My hips start to hurt if I am on one side too long so I am constantly switching sides all night.  We sleep in a double bed so Aaron and I wake each other up a lot.
Best Moment This Week? I love every little tiny kick and punch.  Best feeling in the world.
Movement? Oh yeah.  I love every one.  She seems pretty active.
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? Nope.  I feel great.  Just tired.
Belly Button In or Out? It's still an innie.  It's popping out more and more everyday though.  I just might have an outie here in the next few weeks.
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Still on!!
Looking Forward To? My next doctors apt on June 18th.  Its the 20 week untrasound!  I get to see her and watch them measure every inch of her cute little body.  I am seriously hoping they tell me that I am measuring early!  But yeah right...like that's every going to happen haha.
Missing Anything? My high school body.  I started this pregnancy at my heaviest weight ever...lovely.
Food Cravings? Nope.  But when I get hungry I need food at that very moment!
Labor Signs?  Heck no.  Thank goodness.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Haha Aaron might tell you otherwise but I am mostly happy.  A few weeks during the first trimester I was pretty moody.
Symptoms?  My feet and hands got swollen last Sunday.  I was really nervous because that is a sign of preeclampsia.  I think it was just because I was really hot.  Let's hope so at least.  I also get tired a lot.  That's about all :)
