26 Weeks and Counting!!

At our 21 week ultrasound our sweet baby didn't cooperate when the tech tried to get a good look at her heart.  So, we were lucky enough to get scheduled for another ultrasound!  I love seeing our sweet little girl.  I asked the tech for a profile picture and got way more than I asked for!  He switched over to the 3D image and we got to see her adorable little face!!  I am so amazed at technology.  I mean seriously, I get to see my baby's precious face and features BEFORE I have her?!  I love her so much already!  It's crazy how you can feel so much love for your unborn child.  She has already made such an impression on her mom and dads lives.  What a little miracle she is.  She looks like she is pretty content in there.  I think she is kinda smiling.  I wish that claw looking thing wasn't covering her face.  The tech just said it was part of the placenta/cord.  Whatever it is I wish I could see her whole face!  I love you Baby Beenfield!!!

Amy and I are due in the same month!  It is so nice to have a best friend who is going through the same aches, pains, and love (of course) that you are.  She is having a girl too!  Our babies will be best friends.

This is my first "belly shot."  I was 22 weeks when this was taken.  Aaron told me I wasn't allowed to take a mirror shot and post it on Facebook hehe, so he took one for me.  Thanks babe.

How Far Along? 26 Weeks!
Weight Gained? Oh boy...time to be real here...25 lbs.
Maternity Clothes? Absolutely.  A girls gotta be comfy.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  Oh let me tell you, it's awful.  I had hip issues before I was pregnant and was told by my old doctor that when I do get pregnant, that my hips would only feel worse.  Well he was right.  So they tell you to sleep on your sides and it just kills my hips after a few hours.  I wake up in pain and can't go back to sleep.  I just want to sleep on my back!  For the past two nights I have tried sleeping on the couch propped up with pillows so that there is a gap in-between my back and the couch.  I have slept a little better but I still wake up uncomfortable and then move back to the bed.  It's just going to be rough the rest of my pregnancy...oh and of course after baby is born.  Here I come no sleep! Bring it...
Best Moment This Week? I got to see my little sweet girls facial features!  It was so amazing.  My doctor also told me that I am measuring early.  What, what?!  I am so happy about that.  I love her so much.  I also love feeling her kicks and punches as she gets stronger and stronger.
Movement? Yup.  She did gave me a scare last weekend.  She was shifting a little but not kicking or punching me so it freaked me out that something was wrong.  Luckily her movements picked back up to normal and she is totally fine.  She is just running out of room!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No and I feel really lucky.  It is dang hot though!  Pregnancy during the summer is rough.  Maybe we will plan a little differently next kid??...
Belly Button In or Out? I have a super deep belly button so its still an innie.  But seriously it could be a flatie any time now.
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Still on but I'm not sure for how much longer.  Some days it feels way tight and my finger is bulging.  That's thanks to the heat as well.  But yeah, maybe next post this answer will be a no.
Looking Forward To? I am always looking forward to my next appointment.  It is August 13th.  He wanted to see me in 3 weeks instead of the usual 4-5 weeks.  Yay.  Then I think I will be going to appointments every 2 weeks.  What I'm not looking forward to you may ask?  The glucose screening test.  I need to go in sometime before my next appointment and drink some orange sugar juice. Awesome.
Missing Anything? Being able to do awesome stuff.  Like...being able to walk up stairs without getting winded.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  Nope.  And boy, am I glad for that.  Stay in there little Baby Beenfield.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Pretty content.  One day I came home from garage sailing and was way overheated and super hungry.  Yeah, don't mess...ask Aaron.  But yes, I'm happy most of the time :)
Symptoms?  My hips are killing me.  I felt like I was going to pass out a few weeks ago.  Luckily I haven't felt that way since.  Just feeling super prego.  Love it.
