-33 Weeks and Counting- Forgot to post this, whoops

How Far Along? 33 weeks
Weight Gained? eh..no one needs to know that haha.  I don't even know anymore.
Maternity Clothes? That's about all I can fit into right now so absolutely.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  I have been sleeping a little bit better but not much.  I think I am just SO tired that I can actually sleep a little bit longer in between waking up to switch sides.  My hips still hurt but they are either feeling a little better due to physical therapy or I have just gotten used to the pain.
Best Moment This Week? Setting my 34 weeks ultrasound :) I get to see her again!  Worst moment you may ask?  Being told that I am considered a high risk pregnancy due to my consistent high blood pressure.  I work at doTERRA (they sell essential oils) and of course all of the consultants are telling me to use Lavender because it it supposed to lower your blood pressure.  Sooo...I'm trying it.  It's worth a shot.  Anyway, I just don't want to end up with preeclampsia.  That would be so awful.
Movement? She moves around so much.  It really is so much fun to just watch my stomach move and feel everything.  At almost every doctor appointment the doctor has commented on my active child.  He also calls her a turkey because she is measuring 2 weeks fat.  Aww my sweet chubby girl :)
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No, and I am very lucky for that.
Belly Button In or Out? I kept telling myself that my belly button would finally be an outie or at least a flatie but it is still an innie...I think it always will be.  Darn
Wedding Rings On or Off?  It is still off due to the fact that I have become allergic to my wedding ring.  I really hope that this allergy goes away after I have her.
Looking Forward To? My 34 weeks ultrasound next Wednesday!  I love seeing her and getting to know more about her.  I am also looking forward to the baby shower on 9/21/13 that my lovely sisters are throwing me!
Missing Anything? I am really so done with being pregnant.  I just want it to be over and I want my baby girl in my arms.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  I'm not really sure if I have felt any fake contractions.  You think I would know but I just can't tell if that's what they really are.  So I'm not sure..
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? For the most part I am happy.  But I have many moody moments too.
Symptoms?  My hips are sore and so is my pelvic area.  I can leave a really large indent in my ankles when I press on them.  Pretty impressive right?  Oh, and high blood pressure (hypertension).

Nesting Stage Anyone?

Who knew I could sew?  I sure didn't.  I have the crafting bug!  My dear MIL taught me the basics of sewing after I had the sudden urge to make a baby blanket for our little gal.  Little babe brings out the mom in me I guess :).  I am super excited about all of fun things that I want to make.  I have been using her amazing sewing machine for the first few projects because I didn't think the one that was given to me worked.  Turns out I just needed to figure out how to use it.

This blanket was seriously the first thing that I have ever sewn.  It is minky on one side and cotton the the other.  I still need to top stitch around the whole blanket so it is not quite complete.

Here is another blanket I have made her.  Its a flannel receiving blanket.  I made this blanket with my awesome little sewing machine!

Here is my little sewing machine!  I am so happy it works.  Now I don't have to wait for a trip to Henefer for my sewing fix.

Now this cute car seat cover is not for my little girl but for another mom and her baby girl.  I already have the fabric for mine I just have not made it yet. I wanted to get this one finished and ready for the shower first.  You can find the tutorial I used here.

LOVE the bows!  Soooo girly.

So don't laugh...but I was in the knitting club in 8th grade!  All of the clubs were full so my friends and I decided to join the nerdy knitting club.  Best decision ever!  I made this little newborn hat in a couple hours.  It was really simple and I am almost done with my 2nd one.  I also just might have yarn for the next one too :/ haha.  Now the bow is kinda special because this bow is a decoration from our reception.  My mom made a ton of cute things like this for the reception and I thought it went perfectly with the color.  You can find the tutorial I used here.

Like I said I have a ton more projects that I want to make.  I'll keep you posted :)

29.5 Weeks and Counting/Camera Clean-up

We decided to do a random spur of the moment trip to Henefer one Sunday.  I love my family!

How Far Along? 29.5 Weeks!
Weight Gained? Oh probably too much.
Maternity Clothes? Yes and I love them.  I wear whatever fits now. Can't be too picky.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  It's actually been better.  I started going to Physical Therapy for my hips 3 weeks ago and I think its really helping.
Best Moment This Week?  Hearing her heartbeat when she had hiccups.  She is so sweet.  I love her too much!
Movement? She is super active!  When my doctor was trying to find her heartbeat he kept on getting mine and hers because she was moving around around so much.  He was like, "Man, this kid is active!"
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No, I'm way lucky in that department.
Belly Button In or Out? Still barely an innie!
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Alright get this...About a week ago I thought I got this werid bug bite on my ring finger.  It was really itchy and of course I scratched it.  It started to get a little swollen so I took off my ring and put a bigger ring on to replace it.  I noticed that it was NOT a bug bite but a rash.  When I went into my appointment on Tuesday I asked my doctor what was going on and he was like..."Oh yeah, that's pretty common with pregnant women.  Because your body, hormones, and chemicals are changing you became allergic to your ring."  Um yeah...I was shocked.  He even said that it could be permanent.  Please no...
Looking Forward To? I am down to an appointment every 2 weeks!  I'm also looking forward to my 34 week ultrasound.  I love seeing my baby girl.  I can't wait to meet her!
Missing Anything? My high school body.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  No, and I'm grateful for that.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Happy most of the time.
Symptoms?  My hips are still hurting but they are feeling better.  I am just getting to the uncomfortable stage.

We did the Temple to Temple 5K on Pioneer Day.  Wahoo!  Now I can say that I've done 2 5K's while prgnant. :)  Aaron ran the whole thing and then came back to find me and walk the rest with me.  Luckily I wasn't walking alone.  Amy and her friend are both pregnant so we walked it together.

On a walk with Aaron.  I think I am about 24 weeks in this shot.

Aaron's grandparents where the Grand Marshals in the 4th of July parade.

This is at Provo Beach Resort.  doTERRA (where I work) had their summer party here.  Aaron had an awesome time playing simulated golf.  Guess what?  Aaron sang karaoke in front of everyone!  I bet you can guess he sang a Killers song.  I was so proud and in love :)

We went to San Francisco to visit David and Jani and their kids.  We love their family and they were such awesome hosts!  It was so windy as displayed in the picture below.

Back to Henefer.  Aaron is so manly.

These are just a few things that you will find in the baby room!  Aaron spray painted the frame and then spray painted the mirror to make it a chalkboard.  The cute rocking chair was found at an antique shop in a small town near Henefer.

So Hannah got a creepy lizard that I won't touch.  Everyone thinks its cool though.

26 Weeks and Counting!!

At our 21 week ultrasound our sweet baby didn't cooperate when the tech tried to get a good look at her heart.  So, we were lucky enough to get scheduled for another ultrasound!  I love seeing our sweet little girl.  I asked the tech for a profile picture and got way more than I asked for!  He switched over to the 3D image and we got to see her adorable little face!!  I am so amazed at technology.  I mean seriously, I get to see my baby's precious face and features BEFORE I have her?!  I love her so much already!  It's crazy how you can feel so much love for your unborn child.  She has already made such an impression on her mom and dads lives.  What a little miracle she is.  She looks like she is pretty content in there.  I think she is kinda smiling.  I wish that claw looking thing wasn't covering her face.  The tech just said it was part of the placenta/cord.  Whatever it is I wish I could see her whole face!  I love you Baby Beenfield!!!

Amy and I are due in the same month!  It is so nice to have a best friend who is going through the same aches, pains, and love (of course) that you are.  She is having a girl too!  Our babies will be best friends.

This is my first "belly shot."  I was 22 weeks when this was taken.  Aaron told me I wasn't allowed to take a mirror shot and post it on Facebook hehe, so he took one for me.  Thanks babe.

How Far Along? 26 Weeks!
Weight Gained? Oh boy...time to be real here...25 lbs.
Maternity Clothes? Absolutely.  A girls gotta be comfy.
Stretch marks?  Yup.
Sleep?  Oh let me tell you, it's awful.  I had hip issues before I was pregnant and was told by my old doctor that when I do get pregnant, that my hips would only feel worse.  Well he was right.  So they tell you to sleep on your sides and it just kills my hips after a few hours.  I wake up in pain and can't go back to sleep.  I just want to sleep on my back!  For the past two nights I have tried sleeping on the couch propped up with pillows so that there is a gap in-between my back and the couch.  I have slept a little better but I still wake up uncomfortable and then move back to the bed.  It's just going to be rough the rest of my pregnancy...oh and of course after baby is born.  Here I come no sleep! Bring it...
Best Moment This Week? I got to see my little sweet girls facial features!  It was so amazing.  My doctor also told me that I am measuring early.  What, what?!  I am so happy about that.  I love her so much.  I also love feeling her kicks and punches as she gets stronger and stronger.
Movement? Yup.  She did gave me a scare last weekend.  She was shifting a little but not kicking or punching me so it freaked me out that something was wrong.  Luckily her movements picked back up to normal and she is totally fine.  She is just running out of room!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? No and I feel really lucky.  It is dang hot though!  Pregnancy during the summer is rough.  Maybe we will plan a little differently next kid??...
Belly Button In or Out? I have a super deep belly button so its still an innie.  But seriously it could be a flatie any time now.
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Still on but I'm not sure for how much longer.  Some days it feels way tight and my finger is bulging.  That's thanks to the heat as well.  But yeah, maybe next post this answer will be a no.
Looking Forward To? I am always looking forward to my next appointment.  It is August 13th.  He wanted to see me in 3 weeks instead of the usual 4-5 weeks.  Yay.  Then I think I will be going to appointments every 2 weeks.  What I'm not looking forward to you may ask?  The glucose screening test.  I need to go in sometime before my next appointment and drink some orange sugar juice. Awesome.
Missing Anything? Being able to do awesome stuff.  Like...being able to walk up stairs without getting winded.
Food Cravings? No, not really.
Labor Signs?  Nope.  And boy, am I glad for that.  Stay in there little Baby Beenfield.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Pretty content.  One day I came home from garage sailing and was way overheated and super hungry.  Yeah, don't mess...ask Aaron.  But yes, I'm happy most of the time :)
Symptoms?  My hips are killing me.  I felt like I was going to pass out a few weeks ago.  Luckily I haven't felt that way since.  Just feeling super prego.  Love it.

19 Weeks and Counting - Can't wait to meet out little girl

How Far Along? 19 Weeks (and a day. it counts alright?)
Weight Gained? 10lbs
Maternity Clothes? You betcha and they are oh so comfy.
Stretch marks?  Awww maaann...yes
Sleep?  Its rough.  I sleep with one pillow in between my knees and holding a pillow that it kind of tucked under my belly.  My hips start to hurt if I am on one side too long so I am constantly switching sides all night.  We sleep in a double bed so Aaron and I wake each other up a lot.
Best Moment This Week? I love every little tiny kick and punch.  Best feeling in the world.
Movement? Oh yeah.  I love every one.  She seems pretty active.
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? Nope.  I feel great.  Just tired.
Belly Button In or Out? It's still an innie.  It's popping out more and more everyday though.  I just might have an outie here in the next few weeks.
Wedding Rings On or Off?  Still on!!
Looking Forward To? My next doctors apt on June 18th.  Its the 20 week untrasound!  I get to see her and watch them measure every inch of her cute little body.  I am seriously hoping they tell me that I am measuring early!  But yeah right...like that's every going to happen haha.
Missing Anything? My high school body.  I started this pregnancy at my heaviest weight ever...lovely.
Food Cravings? Nope.  But when I get hungry I need food at that very moment!
Labor Signs?  Heck no.  Thank goodness.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time? Haha Aaron might tell you otherwise but I am mostly happy.  A few weeks during the first trimester I was pretty moody.
Symptoms?  My feet and hands got swollen last Sunday.  I was really nervous because that is a sign of preeclampsia.  I think it was just because I was really hot.  Let's hope so at least.  I also get tired a lot.  That's about all :)

-Mountain Woman-

Aaron grew up in Henefer, UT.  Henefer is a really small, cute town up Provo Canyon and is about 35 minutes past Park City and on your way to Wyoming.  It is a town where everybody knows everybody and everybody knows your business.  His grandfather owns some land up there so Aaron grew up playing in the mountains and is a rough and tough mountain man.  October 16, 2012 was one of the best and worst days of my life.  First of all it was our 10 month anniversary YAY!  So that made it into the BEST category.  Our morning started at 5:15 AM because Aaron wanted to be up in the mountains and waiting before the sun rose.  We put on layers upon layers of warm clothes and I felt poofy and uncomfortable.  I was wearing two pairs of socks (one being a wool pair) and my hiking shoes felt too tight.  We climbed into the truck with the trailer and 4-Wheeler attached to the back and drove up to the gate.  We parked the truck, hopped on the 4-Wheeler, and we were on our way.  The fringed air bit at my face and made my eyes water.  We finally made it to the hill were we wanted to wait for the sun to rise and for all of the animals to wake up.  We didn't speak as we watched the sky turn pink and the sun peak over the horizon.  As morning came our eyes adjusted and there we were, two orange blobs sitting on a hill.  The birds started to sing and we knew it wouldn't be long.  I pulled out my binoculars and searched the rolling hills for any sign of movement.  Aaron and I spotted something on the top of the farthest hill.  I focused my binoculars and Aaron looked through his scope.  To our disappointment it was just another hunter.  He was only wearing an orange hat which isn't enough to differentiate you from being a human or another animal.  We ignored him and continued searching for any other sign of movement.  Nearby where the hunter was walking I saw birds scatter and a deer prance out of sight.  We then saw a beautiful deer walking down the hill.  This deer was amazing to watch.  He was lighter than most deer and healthy.  I quietly asked Aaron if he was going to shoot at him.  He told me that the deer was only a 3 point and that he could do better.  We sat searching the hills for about an hour.  We then started to hike around.  We were hiking through a beautiful forest when we heard a gallop and a tree limb snap.  We found it's trail and followed it.  Adrenaline was pumping fast but we ended up losing it.  I was pretty discouraged after that.  Aaron told me that hunting requires patients and sometimes you can go all day without seeing a deer.  We were lucky to have seen so many.  We then took a 4-Wheeler ride to cover some ground.  Aaron thought a great place to go sit and wait was by a pond.  We walked there and the pond was bone dry.  It was depressing.  We sat and waited on a nearby hill anyway to eat some lunch.  Canned tuna and a bagel...just what I was craving.  At least we had some cheez-its.  Aaron asked me if I wanted to go hiking again and I was pooped.  I wanted to rest.  I actually really just wanted to go back to Aaron's parents house and take a shower and a long nap but I was trying to be a good sport.  I asked him if he would be okay going alone and if I could sit and rest.  We both had our phones in case of an emergency.  I watched him walk over the hill and out of sight.  I laid down and closed my eyes.  I surprisingly fell asleep and didn't wake up until Aaron got back.  We rode the 4-Wheeler and hiked around some more.  We parked the 4-Wheeler at the cabin that Kevin (Aaron's dad) and his boys built.  We were going to pick up Thomas (Aaron's younger brother) at the gate at 3:30 PM and I was going to go back to the house and let them continue hunting.  It was now 2:30 PM and I had just one more hour till I could go take a nice hot shower and a long nap.  We decided to take one more walk.  As we walked up a trail we had to step lightly and be very quit.  I tried to step as quietly as Katniss from the Hunger Games would have stepped.  We were on the lookout for deer. We had no such luck.  We decided to turn around and go back.  The 4-Wheeler was in sight when Aaron spotted something.  About 300 yards up a hill was a white deer bum.  I focused my binoculars and Aaron told me it was a 4 point and he was going to shoot at it!  I was really excited and nervous all at the same time.  This was a far shot so Aaron steadied his gun on a tree limb and aimed for what seemed like forever and then BAM!  My job was to watch the deer to see if it would run or fall.  Nothing happened.  The deer was frozen.  He missed.  A few seconds later...BAM!  Again, nothing happened.  One more miss and then Aaron aimed, took his time, and pulled the trigger.  BAM! The deer fell and rolled down the hill.  I screamed and jumped for joy!  I was in mid motion of running to Aaron to hug him when I remembered what my job was and all at the same time he firmly reminded me to stay where I was to watch the deer to see if it would run.  Aaron ran up the hill to find the deer.  I called him and directed him to were the deer was located.  When you are up on that hill everything looks so different then when you are looking up at it.  He found the deer a few feet away from where it fell.  He told me he had to go and hung up. I was watching through my binoculars but could only see Aaron and not the deer.  I heard another gun shot.  I knew then that the deer was dead and put out of it's misery.  Aaron called me and told me to come up.  I ran up the hill as fast as I could.  My lungs were burning and all of my layers made it stifling hot.  I had a hard time finding Aaron but we called back and forth and I finally spotted his orange jacket.  I looked down and saw the motionless deer.  Poor Bambi.  Que Mountain Woman.  Aaron could not pull this 300 pound deer down the mountain by himself.  My hand gripped the antler and we trudged down the mountain.  These are the things I am telling Aaron as we pull the buck down the mountain, "Oh, his eyes!  They are going to get scratched by the sticks!" and, "Are it's antlers going to fall off if we pull on them for too long?"  Our backs are aching terribly at this point.  We could see the trail in sight and I just wanted this all to be over.  We finally got the deer to the trail and rested for a moment.  I called Thomas and told him to meet us at the cabin.  He told us he would hurry.  There were huge fallen limbs between us and the 4-Wheeler.  We needed Thomas' help to pull this deer over the trees and get the deer on the 4-Wheeler.  While we waited for Thomas, Aaron began to gut it.  The deer is no longer a deer...it is an it.  I watched it's stomach be cut and watched all of the insides fall out.  I watched it's neck be cut to release the trachea.  I watched the blood drain.  This whole time I am wishing Thomas would hurry and get here so we could get it out of here and get this over with.  I was relieved when I saw Thomas running to our aid.  They drug it over the tree limbs and we got it onto the 4-Wheeler.  We all hopped on and slowly drove to the gate.  This bumpy ride took forever as my eyes were glued to this poor thing that was strapped to the front of the 4-Wheeler.  We finally got to the gate and loaded it in the trailer.  Thomas took the 4-Wheeler back up into the mountains to go hunt and we drove the truck back to the house.  We got to the house at around 5:30 PM.  Aaron's dad was out of town.  He is usually the one who helps with these kinds of things.  We did not know where the ropes and pullies were to hang it up.  We had to improvise.  We tried everything...it seemed hopeless.  How were we going to hang this deer upside down?  Aaron cut the ankles and shoved a metal pole through.  I don't think you will believe me when I tell you that we drug the thing into the backyard and hung it on the rings of the playground where the nieces and nephews play.  This might just be the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.  It was so heavy...Aaron and I muscled it and put the metal pole through the rings.  There it was, hanging lifeless upside down by its ankles.  Would you believe that it started to rain?  Yes, it just got worse.  I sat on the trampoline in the rain and watched Aaron skin it.  Aaron told me that I could go inside.  Thank you, that is what I have been waiting to hear.  I wanted to help him as much as I could but I couldn't handle doing anything after that.  I stripped off my dirty, wet clothes and stepped into the hot shower.  I stood there for a while...thinking about what had just transpired.  I might have been a little bit traumatized yes, but everything about this day made my love grow tremendously for Aaron.  He was a MAN.  I got all clean and then ate broccoli cheese soup and homemade bread with Aaron's mom Valarie.  Comfort food.  That's exactly what I needed.  At around 8:30 Aaron and Thomas came in with two huge metal bowls full of meat.  Valarie and I agreed to help package the meat.  I wore gloves.  Aaron, Valarie, and Thomas cut the meat into steak size and I washed and wrapped it.  When the meat was all in white freezer paper it didn't look too bad.  Everything was finished at around 10:30 PM.  I felt so relieved to have this all over and done with.  Aaron said something to the effect of, "Man, I don't know if I'm going to go hunting next year.  This is way more work than I remember it being!"  I then told him that in a year he would forget just how hard the whole process is and that he will just remember the fun parts.  I bet he will go next year.  I just haven't figured out if I will go with him yet.  Maybe I will forget how overwhelming it is in a year too.  But then again, I have this detailed post to remind me to not go!

This was my job all day long.

YAY!  Go Aaron!  Everything up to this point was awesome.

Yea, gross...trust me I know

Oh, and Thomas found a shed on his way to the cabin.
